Top Picks: Product Updates

GP Advanced Save and Continue: This week we added support for using Advanced Save & Continue with Gravity Forms’ Conversational Forms. Sure, conversational forms are designed to feel quick and engaging, but the real world will still get in the way. Letting users pick up where they left off makes even fast-paced forms better.

GP Inventory: We’ve improved support for inventories scoped by Date fields with non-US date formats. This perk is still a simple but powerful way to manage date-based inventories (like single day events).

GP Populate Anything: Speaking of dates, Populate Anything can now handle populating dates from one field into another, even when the formats in those Date fields are different. Also, if you’re using Elementor and multi-page forms, we fixed a little sneaky bug for you.

All Fields Template: Compare Updated Values

Back in April, we shared a snippet for our popular All Fields Template plugin that allowed you to only show updated values via the :updated modifier.

Shortly afterwards, a Pro customer wrote in and asked if it would be possible to also show the previous value as way for them to validate the change. So we added a new compare template!

Our sorcerous marketing wizard, Cole Fraser, joined Matt Medeiros on the Gravity Forms Breakdown podcast to chat about WordPress’ ability to survive in an increasingly competitive AI landscape.

My takeaway? With all the uncertainty around APIs and the fast pace of AI, building on stable, open-source platforms like WordPress and Gravity Forms gives you more control over your data and a foundation you can count on long-term. Utilizing the power of AI in combination with existing platforms seems like a safer path forward rather than starting from scratch on every project.

GC OpenAI: Stream to Multiple Fields

Streaming to Paragraph Fields is by far our most popular snippet for Gravity Connect: OpenAI. So popular, in fact, that a Pro customer wanted to stream to multiple fields on a single form. Of course we were happy to update the snippet to support this.
